For our Honeymoon, my husband and I wanted to stay somewhere with an intimate yet luxurious feel. We are so glad we chose White Sands! The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. We arrived to a wonderful welcome drink at the bar, as well as flowers showering our bed and a lovely bottle of champagne with congratulations. We loved the location on the island (a little north of town). The complimentary bikes and kayaks are what drew our attention. Other resorts that offered these amenities were all priced much higher. We really enjoyed our accommodations on the Lagoon even though we weren't on the beachfront. We will stay at White Sands again!!

My husband and I stayed at White Sands Cove for five nights and loved every one of them. The hotel is beautiful. The room had a small kitchenette, TV & DVD player, very comfortable bed, and nice, hot shower. It's located a mile or so north of San Pedro, which we found to be the perfect location. It was easy to get into San Pedro when we wanted - either via water taxi or bicycle - and easy to get back to the hotel when we wanted to relax. There are numerous restaurants along or near the beach, in close walking distance to the hotel. Nikki and Ben are incredibly friendly and helpful. Anything we needed, they helped with. Nikki, Ben, & Marlon helped us organize outings, and helped us to order dinner in on the nights we needed down time (which we often needed after all day snorkeling trips). I don't have one complaint about my stay at White Sands - in fact, I've decided to make it a new annual tradition. So, if you're thinking about going to Belize? GO! And if you're thinking about staying at White Sands? DO IT!

It's hard to put into words how great our experience was at White Sands Cove. The staff exceeded all of our expectations. It was like having our own personal assistant. We let them know the excursions we wished to take and they made it happen. We asked them about a golf cart to travel the island, within the hour they informed us in was on it's way. They arranged to have it delivered and picked up eliminating any hassles for us. Ben was our man at the bar and his Rum Punch was the bomb. He made sure you were never thirsty. For us White Sands Cove will be a place we use to measure how well other resorts take care of their guests.

First time in Belize!!! Spent a wonderful time with my family! The property is well maintained, rooms are clean and spacious. Marlon, the manager of the property was very helpful and accommodating with everything. The guys from the local dive shop were very professional and knowledgeable. Food from the bar was tasteful and fulfilling. Pool was spotless. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

Recently my family and I took our first trip to Belize where we stayed four nights at the White Sands Cove Resort on Ambergris Caye. We booked our trip online and were excited to see if our choice in places to stay was as nice as we had hoped. When we arrived we were blown away about how much nicer the resort was in person than online. Customer service and a friendly staff started from the airstrip pick up point where our taxi drive Issiah picked us up and took us on our bumpy voyage out of the main town of San Pedro to the North side of Caye to White Sands Cove Resort.
As we pulled up to the resort, we were greeted by an island breeze as well as by the Property Manager Marlon, who immediately welcomed us to the resort, loaded our bags in a wheel barrow, and directed us to the poolside bar area for our welcome rum punch, while he set up our room for us. Our family includes a 6 month old infant who slept soundly each night in the pack and play crib Luis (Maintenance) kindly set up prior to our arrival.
Throughout our stay, we became friendly with multiple members of the White Sands Cove Resort staff, including but not limited to: Marlon (Property Manager), Luis (Maintenance), Doris (Bartender), Estella (Housekeeper), Edwin (Grounds/Landscaping); we consider them our White Sands Cove family! :)
We found ourselves chatting with each of them on a daily basis and enjoyed their conversations, company, as well as Each and every one of the staff members went above and beyond to make our stay at the resort the most pleasant and memorable possible.
An example of the quality of service shined on our last day in the country. My husband and I had purchased an expensive painting from a local artist one of which we had fallen in love with..We were so proud of this painting, and named her Xaan (name of a bartender's daughter we met in Belize), and already rearranged our living room back home in Florida to fit our piece of art. Needless to say, in all the action of leaving White Sands and making sure we got pictures with all of our new friends we somehow lost sight of Xaan and did not load her onto the ferry we took back to Belize City. Long story short, Marlon found Xaan on the bench at the end of the dock, as he said "waiting on the next ferry", rushed her into town on his bicycle, passed her off to Issiah, who then drover her to the airport and sent her on her way to meet us in Belize City. Xaan then went on another adventure of her own which eventually landed her back in our hands 10 minutes prior to our take off back to the States.
Once again, the White Sands Cove Resort staff showed they are there to go above and beyond. We would HIGHLY recommend this resort for all thos future travelers to Ambergris Caye and look forward to keeping in touch with the staff and hopefully returning to the resort in teh near future.

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at White Sands after spending several days inland. This was exactly what we needed after roughing it in the jungle. From start to finish, Marlon was friendly, professional, and always available to answer questions. The resort was very relaxing, beautiful and located right on the water. We used the free bikes to go into San Pedro and explore. The service is some of the best we have encountered and really enjoyed the personal attention that all of the staff provided. Overall, a great experience and would certainly recommend it to others.

Loved our stay with White Sands! Our room was great and just feet from the water! Marlon always had a smile on his face and quick to respond to any request. We found all other families very friendly and always felt at home! The local "Burrito" guy sold some great burritos and tamales each morning. Running each day on the beach was beautiful and felt safe all the time. I would surely stay again at the resort!

White Sands was very relaxing. Marlon, Doris, and the cute lil' guy that took us diving were all very accommodating. Bikes available on the premises to ride along the beach with the locals, book excursions or just lay around in a hammock drinking from a coconut, thanks to the personal service you get from Marlon. Grounds were quiet and clean. Between bikes and golf carts we covered most of the island and I would like to say we were at the best resort by far. I don't like to visit the same place twice, but I will be returning to White Sands in 2013.

We had a wonderful time at White Sands. It was everything you said and more. What a beautiful suite we had just feet from the ocean Our condo had the perfect view and everything within to make our stay "the best ever". Our compliments to Marlon and all the White Sands employees.. the units, grounds and pool are so clean. We just hated to leave. We have not stopped talking about this wonderful adventure to Ambergris, Belize.
